Neighbourhood Watch Review

Dear Andrew, This message is being sent to everybody who is registered to receive messages from Neighbourhood Watch. At national level there is a three year transformation strategy in place, and we would like to seek your views on whether or not this is working for you, or if more change is needed. One of the ambitions of the strategy is to learn and improve, and we would like your help with this. We want to know if you understand these outputs, have used them and if you found them useful. Can you please spare no more than 10 minutes to complete this short survey? Just 5 main questions that all relate to the delivery of some parts of the strategy. We will be assessing all of the results at a national Board meeting; so please complete this survey as soon as possible. It will close on 20th October 2019. Please note, you do not need to be active in Neighbourhood Watch to complete the survey, we want to know the opinions of everyone the movement can reach. To complete the survey please click the button below. (Please note, if you know anyone else involved in Neighbourhood Watch specifically they can access the survey by visiting www.ourwatchmember.org.uk/strategysurvey) Please be honest. That way we can better meet your needs. and help all of us make more of a positive difference to our neighbourhoods and communities. Thank you. On behalf of David Huse Chair, Neighbourhood Watch Network

Tewkesbury Borough Plan - My mistake!
The original caption on the plan of the Tewkesbury Plan housing allocation for Maisemore was incorrect. The plan does NOT include the 'restored landscape area' of the Rectory Farm site within the village boundary.
This has now been corrected.

Have your say on Tewkesbury's Plan
Tewkesbury Borough Council wants to hear from the public about a crucial planning document - the
Pre-submission Tewkesbury Borough Plan - before submitting it to the Government for independent examination.
The Plan provides detailed and locally-specific planning policies on issues in Tewkesbury Borough, such as housing, employment, retail, the urban and natural environment and transport. It also includes smaller-scale sites allocated for housing and employment development.
The Plan provides detailed and locally-specific planning policies on issues in Tewkesbury Borough, such as housing, employment, retail, the urban and natural environment and transport. It also includes smaller-scale sites allocated for housing and employment development.
The
plan feeds directly in to the Joint Core Strategy - the over-arching
strategic planning document for Gloucester City, Cheltenham Borough and
Tewkesbury Borough which
sets out how much growth needs to be accommodated in the three areas
and the broad strategy for how that growth will be delivered.
The consultation will run for just over six weeks until 5pm on Monday, 18 November - any comments received after the deadline cannot be accepted.

Death of Brian Knowles
It is with great sadness that Maisemore Parish Council announces the sudden death of Brian Knowles over the weekend.
Brian and his wife, Jocelyn, who died a few years ago, enjoyed a long retirement in Maisemore at their house in Church Rise - nearly 25 years.
Besides being Parish Clerk for a period, Brian organised The Grapevine, our newsletter, for many years only recently giving up its editorial.
He will be sadly missed.
