Flooding drop-in sessions

David Jones posted this on Nextdoor:

Email received from Helen Richards, Environment Lead, Community Advice Team, GRCC: 28 January 2020:

I am emailing to let you know that there are drop in sessions planned by the Environment Agency for your parishes either this Thursday or next Thursday for those affected by the recent flooding.

They are contacting individuals known to them to have flooded but please do spread the word to your community for the relevant date below. This is to find out about potential Property Level Resilience opportunties.

If you have a Flood Warden in your parish they were made aware at last night’s meeting and/or by email this morning.

Tewkesbury, Chaceley, Deerhurst, The Leigh & Norton Thursday, 30 Jan 14:30 - 19:00 Tewkesbury Boys Brigade Location on Google Maps:

More houses for Maisemore?

An outline planning application (19/00676/OUT) has been submitted for a further 33 houses alongside the approved application at Bell House Farm, which is for 15 houses.

New outline planning application for Bell House Farm - indicative masterplan.
The existing (approved) application is shown shaded.

Full details of the application can be found on the Tewkesbury Borough Council website.

The proposed houses would be amongst the closest in Maisemore to the new chicken production units currently being built.
