Carriageway resurfacing in Maisemore

Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the roads as detailed in the Schedule below (abstracted from ten locations throughout Gloucestershire):

A40 Over Roundabout - Old Road, Maisemore

The reason for the closure is for carriageway resurfacing.

The roads are expected to be closed during various times on a rolling programme commencing 2nd July 2020 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closure/restrictions taking effect. Some roads will be closed overnight and others during the day. This order can permit the closure of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required and it is anticipated all works will be completed by 7th October 2020. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

PLANT SALE - NEXT WEEKEND - 13+14 June

As some of you may know we were due to open our garden next weekend for the National Garden Scheme.

Sadly of course we are now unable to do this however we have quite a large number of plants that we have grown and intended to sell as part of our open garden days. (Hostas, Penstemons, Salvias, Irises and many more).

We will therefore be displaying these on tables at the end of our drive next weekend (13th and 14th June) from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

All plants will be £3.00 each and payment will be by an honesty box.

Collection Nr. 30, Hosta, Astilbe, Penstemon, Salvia, Hemerocallis ...

The address for those who don’t know is Weir Reach, The Rudge, Maisemore.

All proceeds will go to the NGS who support a large number of charities such as Marie Curie and Macmillan Cancer Support and Hospice UK.

Any support would be much appreciated. Please note the garden will NOT be open.

Please Stay Safe and remember Social Distancing
