Which? warns of Amazon Prime scam

There’s something you need to know  -
A malicious phone scam is doing the rounds. An automated call pretending to be from Amazon Prime is telling victims their subscription will be ‘renewed’ for £39.99 – even if they’re not a customer.
From here, it’s highly likely scammers will attempt to extort bank details and/or personal data from you.
We’ve notified Amazon, but if you receive this call, hang up immediately. Find out more about this scam, and read our advice on how to keep you and your family safe.
